Originals available to patrons on Patreon.

Had my first shoot in more than a year on Saturday and i’ve finished my first image from it, which you can see a sneak peek of above. (Which is to say the final version isn’t blurry at all, though I have to admit when I was doing it I kinda dug it when it was about half this blurry.)

As promised though, my Patrons will get the first looks at my new images and an early shot at prints of them, so it’ll be a few weeks to a month until I post them everywhere else. You can click on the picture above to go to my page there and sign up for as little as 1$ a month.

So! I have signed up at Patreon!

At first I was super hesitant and weird feeling about, I don’t know why, but after a lot of waffling I figured it wouldn’t hurt. Even if only a few people sign up, it’s still something. And something is something! (Aren’t I deep?)

I did hit a wall of sorts when it came to incentives, so those might end up being modified at some point. It’s also hard to know what i’ll be able to manage, so i’m not offering a lot of monthly incentives at the moment. If anyone has any insights or suggestions on that i’d like to hear them! (Like say you might pledge 20$ a month if it included a vial of my tears. I’m not going to do that, you’re weird for wanting it, i’m just saying let me know if you have any such suggestions!)

Doing it the way I am also means there are things that only patrons will see, or things that patrons will get first dibs at. I’ll be doing behind the scenes posts, sneak peeks at upcoming shoots, putting images there before anywhere else, offering patron only giveaways and sales, first crack at one of a kind mixed media pieces as well as limited editions for sale, stuff like that. Sorry to those who can’t take on being a patron, but i’ve got to give them something!

And while i’ve been super quiet this past year photo wise, i’m taking the summer off from school to focus solely on shoots, mixed media pieces and non-photo based side projects. So once i’m done with this semester in about 2 weeks i’m aiming to kick my productivity into over drive, meaning there will be a lot going up on patreon first.

And that’s about it. Let me know if you have any questions, or again, suggestions!

I know, i know, i already posted these. I had to re-edit them though, and this set more closely resembles what they look like in person. You can see my other post [here] for more info on these.

[p.s. new post on the blog [here] “process in progress”]

OK, if any artists out there would like to exchange small mail art with me, let me know! I’ll be sending out small mixed media pieces, mostly based around my photos, but i’ll probably do some with the public domain images i’ve worked with too. In return i’d like to receive drawings, paintings, screen prints, or mixed media pieces. I’m NOT really interested in prints, sorry. I’m sending out small original pieces, not straight reproductions, so i’d like to receive the same in return. Plus 99% of the art i have in the house are photos already. I also will be saying no to some people, sorry! I can’t do an exchange with everyone who asks, it’s just not possible. So if you could give me some idea of what you do and/or might send, i’d appreciate it. But if i might make posts here and there where people can send me their addresses and i’ll pick a few to send some random pieces out to.
EMAIL ME if interested. caryn @

[Cross post from the blog]

First, an apology! There have been a lot of changes in a short period of time in regards to my prints, even after promising it wouldn’t happen again anytime soon. Oops. But, it felt necessary.

Now, Here are my new prices:

5x7  35$

8x8  46$

8x10  52$

8x12  57$

9x12  62$

10x10  69$

10x13  75$

11x14  80$

10x15  78$

12x12  82$

12x18  86$

16x20  110$

16x24  120$

20x20  127$

20x30  135$

All these prices INCLUDE shipping, to all countries. And while they’re higher than previous prices, They are either close to or the exact same as many of previous prices after you added shipping in.

Also, i now offer discounts on all orders that are for more than one print. That goes as follows:

Buy 2 prints - 30% off
Buy 3 - 4 prints - 40% off
Buy 5 or more - 50% off

I’ll be creating some listings on etsy for images of the same size that look like this:

because that’s easiest, but if you’re looking to buy more than one print in varying sizes, you’ll have to contact me, or i’ll refund you after the fact. [I’ll be refunding the difference for any order where the buyer has accidentally paid full price.]
These discounts only apply to regular photo prints, not circles, mounted prints, prints on specialty papers, limited editions, etc. Though if you want to buy more than a few of any of those [exception being limited editions] there will still be a discount.

I’ve finally ordered the test circular mounted prints, so you’ll be able to see images of those soon, and [besides the one that was won in the giveaway] they’ll be up in the shop and for sale. In the etsy shop i’ve already included mockups in the listings. Same goes for the cell phone cases i’ll be adding soon as well:

Image2 [click to visit listing]

I’ve only done this for the ones i think look best on the case or as a circle, if there is something you’d like that doesn’t include a mockup in the shop, just email me.

Otherwise, all other info about my prints remains the same. Packaging, print place, paper, shipping methods, etc are either unchanged or close enough to what i usually do. If you don’t know what any of that stuff is, it’s in all of my etsy listings.

And as usual, there are images of mine that are NOT in my etsy shop, but that doesn’t mean they’re not available as prints. I usually either don’t like it enough to list, or don’t think others do. So contact me if there is something you want that isn’t listed.

And if there is anything i haven’t mentioned that you have a question about, feel free to ask!
