![altered you don’t sing to me anymore print on Flickr.
Via Flickr: This is one of my altered test prints for the limited edition of ‘you don’t sing to me anymore’. It was a no go because of it being a little bit darker than it should have been. 12x18 image on 14x20 somerset velvet paper [printed by a print shop, not on my inkjet.] I added water color to the cicada [veins in the wings and then the obvious drippy bits] a little green to the eyes, and then played up the speckling in the lips with more pink. The watercolors didn’t alter the ink in the print at all. There is a little denting in the white border, but that won’t be seen if you mat it. [Please excuse the warping, i had to prop it up in a chair to take a picture real quick.] I have a price in mind, but feel free to make an offer.](http://24.media.tumblr.com/tumblr_mctucofZKz1qe2efro1_500.jpg)

![finally making some progress on the mixed media piece. all the parts were shot yesterday, so now it’s a matter of creating the “digital” version, and editing half of the final “real life” version, then eventually printing that part and putting it together.
